This is our first time working with an interior designer and we couldn't be happier. From the initial consultation, I knew Mikaila could make our home beautiful , and she made it better than we imagined! She worked exactly within our budget and made sure the place is a ``functional`` home where it's safe and durable for our 6 and 3 year old monster to play comfortably.

Mikaila is such a talented and creative interior designer. She was able to take my cursory vision and make it a polished, high quality reality. She transformed our home into something you see in a magazine. Once all of the work was finished, I was literally brought to tears. Not only that, Mikaila saved us an exorbitant amount of time that we didn't have to spend on designing our new home. Also, she was so easy to work with and had excellent, creative ideas. My husband really appreciated the fact that Mikaila also kept us on budget.

After living in my home for 18 years it was time to update some things and overhaul others. I met with a few designers before I hired Mikaila. During our first consultation I found Mikaila to be a great listener. I felt she really took her time and listened to me and heard my wishes and vision for my home. She was excited about incorporating some of my family heirlooms and favorite pieces whereas other designers wanted to get rid of everything and start from scratch. What started as a master bath remodel and few other updates turned into a much larger project. My home is nearly 5,000 sqft and Mikaila and her team touched probably 75% of it. I'm extremely pleased with how my project turned out and could not have achieved the same result without Mikaila. I felt the time and personal attention she gave me far exceeded what I was charged for. I have referred her again and again and will continue to refer her to anyone looking for a talented interior designer.

Our 1920's craftsman home was in desperate need of some new design. My wife and I are in our 30s and wanted to keep the charm while not making the place seem like an old folk's home! Since we were redesigning almost every room, we really took our time finding the right designer for the job. After talking to 3 or 4 of them, it was crystal clear that Mikaila was the best of the bunch. Others would come in and start telling us to take down walls and do this & that, without even asking about our style or what we like. Mikaila really emphasizes that your home should match your personality. She talked to us for a long time before making any suggestions. Now that the project is done -- our home is perfect! Mikaila also respects your budget. At the end of this project, she met our budget almost to the dollar and did everything she said she would. We also hired Mikaila to design my office since the home design was such a success. There's no way I'd call anyone other than Mikaila for interior design.

Our excitement of buying our first home quickly turned to absolute panic while trying to coordinate the pre move in upgrades and new furnishings etc. We wanted new everything and we wanted it to be perfect, and we also needed to stay on our budget. I had a consult with Mikaila and I explained my vision, she then came back to me with pictures and samples that I fell in love with. I could tell she listened to what I wanted and really honed in on my style. She helped me coordinate everything from wall color to new furniture, and new appliances to installation. She involved me in the major decisions and by the end I just left it up to her as I could tell that she got what we were going for. My home is now gorgeous and I am not in the poor house!
